Josarah started studying dance in high school, and continued to study primarly modern dance for 5 years. She has experiance in swing, lyrical, ballet and jazz. With strong dance background in hand, she began to dream of the fire. She’d seen the fire rituals for years, and in 2005 when the chance came, she jumped on the band wagon. Excited and anxious to learn, she began picking up props. Her fortes are fire fans and fire breathing, while also being skilled with palms, fingers, fleshing and eating. And now added to the list, a fire rope dart. Soon with enough NINJA TRAINING she will add staff and poi, maybe even a little nunchaku, and a bit of hula hoop for flaire, to her repitaire. Josarah spends most the the year travling with the renaissance festival, traveling to laces like Arizona, Colorado and Texas. Tent living isn’t too bad though. . . lots of time to play! She returns in the summer and winter to Minnesota. Everytime with fire in her heart to rejoin the family. She participates in Sturgis, 10KLF and Harvest festival while in Minnesota, and spends hours, on the road, by a fire and cirlce of drums dancing and playing and. . . Er ah. . . practicing. Yeah practicing, because that’s what happens on a full moon night at a drum jam in the middle of a desert, or on top of a mountain. . . silly, what did you think hippies do?
